| I'm having lots of fun taking photos of babies at the moment, but I feel my editing skills are not yet very professional. I'd love some advice as to what to do to this pic to make it better. I have already cropped (so the sheet was the only background), sharpened slightly, adjusted levels and changed to B+W. Also, how much is too much sharpening? I'm always worried that when I give the parents the disc of photos that they'll print them and they'll be all grainy... |

| PS: is Ariella lying on the sheet, or propped up in front of it? Good idea to have your subject at least a metre away from the background if they can sit up. (I think she's too little for that). | ||

| Re images on CD for printing. If you've sized to your images to something popular like 10inch x 8inch at 300dpi (always 300dpi for printing) and done your sharpening at that size, they should be OK. | ||
