Biennial Photobook Competition

Winners announced Saturday 25 July, 2026, 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm, at Scrumptious Reads Bookshop in their downstairs gallery 92A Arthur Ter, Red Hill QLD 4059, with drinks and nibbles and the opportunity to look at all of the entries. All QCG members and their partners are welcome (not just the entrants).
Awards include first place in both categories, People’s Choice and Outstanding Concept Award.

Please join us for an informal critique night - whether you would like a hand in finishing off your photobook for QCG’s 2026 competition, or if you just wish to have a few images reviewed for future competition, or simply to get feedback as part of your photographic development.

Photoshoot outing
This Photoshoot outing will be based around Brisbane City, which offers many creative opportunities, including abstract photography, street photography, reflections, intentional camera movement (ICM), and long exposure city scenes.

A wonderful opportunity to capture the rich maritime history of Queensland and enjoy a creative morning with fellow photography enthusiasts.
Photographs taken during this outing are perfect for submission to the April competition, which has a nautical theme.
